Community Supervision
From the Law Office of Alison Grinter in Dallas, Texas
Community Supervision is supervision by the county's Probation Department for a period of time because a person has been placed on Probation or Deferred Adjudication.
Community Supervision is an alternative to prison, jail, or other confinement, and is subject to conditions (generally called "conditions of probation") A list of common conditions of probation can be found in the Probation article, but the number one unwritten condition of probation is : Keep Your Probation Officer Happy. That starts with making every scheduled probation meeting, but it can also involve jumping through hoops you never expected. Talk to your lawyer if you think your probation officer is being unreasonable, but never anger your PO, because an angry PO can ALWAYS find a reason to file a motion to revoke or adjudicate, and you don't want them looking for reasons.
